TCA Ground Federal Pledge
Exciting to see the big media announcement on Tuesday with federal Labor pledging $3.35 million towards the TCA Ground re-development. Labor Candidate for Lyons Ben McGregor and Leader in the Senate Penny Wong were present for the annnouncement. We hope now this will make the vision we’ve held for a long time a reality.

Last Week’s Practice Match
A few players missing on our part, but it was great to get the final hitout in ahead of the Season. The Under 19s kicked off the day against Sorell going done by a point. The boys lead late in the game, but due to other commitments our low numbers meant we ended the game with only 14 players and narrowly going down by a point. The U19s take on Sorell again in the first round, so we’ve shown that we can roll them on their home turf.
The Seniors played a reasonable game going down by 8 points against the Parrots, 93 to 81. Former Tiger Rohan Bones and Tyson Gray (brother of Tiger’s Shaun Gray) lining up for the visitors. The Tigers coming from 21 points down at the last change to give the Parrots a fright. Definitely some positive signs!
