The Week Gone:
A tough week for the club this week gone. At Sorell, the Underage with a lot of injuries started the day off well with a 4 point win. Mark Cripps kicking 2 in his first underage game for a while.
The Reserves, well they started ok. But the damage was done conceding four late goals in the first quarter. From there the second and third quarter was disappointing before a little bit of fight shown in the last.
Finally the Womens side, as the score would suggest the girls came up against the team many see as the best side in the competition. They got taught a lesson by the Robins. On as positive the girls had three more debutants and would have tested out the fitness with only 18 players all up (2 on the bench!).
The Seniors, of course had a bye due to Brighton withdrawing from the Senior competition for 2019.
The Masters unfortunately went down on Sunday to Sorell, kicking and inaccurate 1.5 (11) to Sorell’s 9.9 (63) and have another week off.
