Tiger Talk – 10 November 2016

It’s been a while since our last newsletter but plenty has happened and our supporters should be excited. Next week preseason commences but we have already witnessed 40 at unofficial training runs on a weekly basis. Tuesday night will see the real thing with training starting at the TCA and venturing up to the crossroads.

The senior coach Mark Beck along with assistants Heath Neville and Luke Sullivan are raring to go and their enthusiasm in infectious. The players training program for Tuesday 15th November through to Thursday December 15th is in place and available on the players Facebook group.

The reserves coaching position is yet to be decided but be ready for another great outcome.

Coaching Announcement – Under 18s
The board and coaching group are pleased to announce Will Perry as the under 18’s coach for 2017.  Will has a strong background as a player both interstate and at Hobart Football Club. Will holds a Certificate 3 in sport and recreation and was assistant coach to Dane Colbeck during this season. Will has commenced working with the senior coaches and we are looking forward to success with our Under 18’s in 2017.

POSITION VACANT – Game Day Co-Ordinator
One of the board initiatives for the 2017 season is to appoint a game day manager to co-ordinate home games and ensure all those necessary things happen.  This would be an ideal position for a semi retired person, a really enthusiastic supporter or would be a real benefit to a person looking to work towards a management career. Please read the position description attached and consider this position applicable to any one you know.
