Hobart V Claremont at TCA Ground, 2pm
After suffering a 115-point loss to Cygnet last week, and a loss to Sorell the week before there is no doubt that the Tigers will be looking for a stronger performance this week to redeem themselves at this point in the season. After sitting in the middle of the ladder for so long the Tigers are starting to slide down and that is not where they want to be, and a competitive effort against the Magpies would set them back on track nicely.
The Magpies are still sitting comfortably in the second spot on the ladder, but after a close game with the Robins last week the Magpies need to stay focused and continue playing how they did earlier in the season to keep their spot safe. Cygnet is starting to close in on the Magpies and it would be a shame to lose their position and the chance to host a home final this late in the season.
After Hobart’s track record in the last couple of rounds, it is likely that the reigning premiers will come out on top this week.
